FAQs

I never practiced yoga or meditation before. Is your retreat adapted to me?

Were you born knowing how to drive? We hardly think so. You had to start at zero, and a teacher or a trustworthy person taught you the basics, allowing you to build your skills from there. Then the answer is yes, Yoga in general and our retreat are perfectly adapted for beginners.

Yoga is exactly the same. You have to start at some point, and your age (17, 37, or 71 years old) simply does not matter. The fundamental purpose of Yoga is to help you get the user manual for your body and mind. You will always be starting earlier by beginning now than by waiting another ten years.

All levels of experience are welcome in our Retreat.

To discuss your experience and expectations in more detail, please feel free to email us at videocall@luneacorail.com and let’s schedule a video chat at your convenience.

I’m not that flexible, strong or enduring. Should I wait to become more of these before coming to the retreat ?

That is a very common question, and the answer is a firm no.

Yoga is not a test of flexibility, strength, or endurance. It is about focus. It's about the depth of involvement and intention you pour into the practice. It is far better to execute a pose halfway with 100% of your focus than to achieve the "perfect" physical posture while your mind is preoccupied with your next meeting or your dinner plans.

We welcome you exactly as you are. The real work starts the moment you show up.

I practiced Yoga for 10 years. I’m flexible, there is something else to get from Yoga?

Congratulations on ten years of stretching. You can now touch your toes with your nose, but what has truly changed? Do you still struggle with the same core problems in life? If so, you may find yourself running in circles, confusing effort with progress.

The root of this dilemma is often two-fold:

  1. The problem itself is improperly assessed. As the philosopher Alan Watts put it, "Problems that remain persistently insoluble should always be suspected as questions asked in the wrong way."

  2. The tool is improperly used or taught. This is like trying to use a hammer to drive a screw. You will certainly get a result, but it will not be the one you were hoping for.

Regardless of whether you find yourself caught in those cycles or simply questioning your own effort, this kind of superficial pursuit is not the Yoga we offer.

Our focus is not on physical contortion or outward achievement, but on the profound inner work that actually changes the nature of the questions you ask.

Is there a focus on diet or silence during the retreat? What about my phone ?

On Food and Diet:

Nourishing, whole-food meals that are meant to boost your energy and clear your mind, that’s the goal. We believe the real practice is to simply be mindful of the food you eat.

On Silence:

This is not a silent retreat. However, during the practices, silence is highly recommended to enhance your perceptivity and let others do the same. Silence is a tool, not a rule.

On Your Phone:

Think of your phone the same way you think of your food. Would you eat nonstop for three hours every day? Phone, computer, books, etc, we encourage you to use these tools only when you truly need them. This helps you get the most out of your time with us.

I didn’t see premium packs, why?

We do not offer "premium" or tiered packages because we fundamentally refuse to value the quality of the experience based on money.

Our philosophy is that the depth of the retreat should not be dictated by financial or any other external criteria, such as social status, professional title, physical strength, or personal history.

Our credo is simple: Everyone is welcome as a VIP guest. We are committed to providing a single, exceptional experience for all participants.

Do you have any offer for larger groups such as teambuilding?

Yes, we do offer customized retreats for larger groups and corporate events, such as teambuilding. To ensure the quality and intimacy of the experience, we limit group size to a maximum of 40 participants.

Please send your detailed inquiry to contact@luneacorail.com. We look forward to discussing the feasibility and tailoring a project specifically for your team.

What if I dislike the retreat?

It's highly unlikely you will. Here are two reasons why we are so confident:

  1. It is a complete experience, not just yoga. The retreat is designed as a transformative journey that extends far beyond a typical yoga class. It includes a style of yoga you may not have encountered, powerful and atypical guided meditations, unique workshops, and original activities set in a scenic environment. The sheer variety ensures a rich, engaging experience.

  2. You vet the experience before you book. We offer a video call with a team member before you commit. While we keep most of the retreat a surprise—to allow you to fully enjoy an experience with minimal preconceived notions—this call ensures the fundamental nature and philosophy of the retreat align with your goals. By minimizing unaware expectations, we maximize the potential for an unmatched, unexpected experience.

I have trouble committing to a long-term practice. Will a single retreat 'fix' me?

The aim of the retreat is not to "fix" you, but to recalibrate your internal compass. A retreat is a powerful reset button, providing intense focus and clarity. While it won't erase ten years of habit in a week, it will give you the clarity and practical framework to seamlessly weave true, non-superficial spiritual practice into your daily modern life (work, technology, relationships, etc.). Our focus is on sustainable integration, ensuring what you learn here continues to serve you long after you leave.
